In our March 9, 2018, blog entry, we told you how the donations process will work for the Yukon Journey. And, as a reminder, not a single penny that a person donates here goes to the expedition or its team members. We’re paying for all of the trip expenses ourselves, plus getting help with gear from some of the best companies in the outdoors industry. Because of this, you’ll know that your donation goes to help the first responders who help us when we desperately need it!

While we haven’t hit the water yet, it is possible to donate now to help first responders.  We have a YouCaring webpage set up where you can safely and securely donate with a credit or debit card, or a PayPal account. The credit card processor will take out the standard 2.9% (plus 30 cent transaction fee), but there are no other deductions taken out for marketing, salaries, etc. 100% of the net donation goes to straight to first responders and young people studying to enter the field.
