Yukon Journey donations, #3 of 7

With a nod to Yukon Brewing, our third donation went to Marsh Lake Fire and Rescue. This volunteer emergency services department is located approximately 54 km (33 miles) southeast of Whitehorse. Under the direction of Chief Rob Schneider, the group not only serves the small community of Marsh Lake, but assists with fires and other incidents in the surrounding area. We’d like to thank them for all they do for their community.
As one of the expedition’s primary sponsors, Yukon Brewing‘s various beers kept us happy around every campfire on the Canadian side of our journey. It’s not only great beer (with Ice Fog being our collective favorite), but Yukon Brewing President Bob Baxter and his team also contribute to numerous charities and fundraisers in the Yukon. In fact, they donate 100% of the proceeds from brewery tours to these causes. We can’t say enough about good things about them (or their beer!). They were the first, and are still the best, craft brewery in the Yukon. Cheers everyone!
